Key points to note:
- Children sit their Key Stage 2 SATs at the end of Year 6.
- Most children should achieve the expected standard (ES) by the end of Key Stage 2. This is called an “age related expectation” (ARE).
- More able children are expected to achieve greater depth (GD).
