The Corpus Christi Parents' Association is a registered charity supported solely by parent volunteers to raise money in support of staff and children at Corpus Christi Primary School. Throughout the year, the Parents' Association organises fundraisers and events ranging from the very popular Christmas Fair enjoyed by the wider Brixton community and attended by over 1,000 people, discos, a Fun Run, cake sales, pizza sales, Quiz and Race nights, a pet photo competition and much more. These events foster a sense of community at the school and enhance the educational experience at Corpus Christi Primary School.
Through the support of our multitasking parents and dedicated staff, the PA has raised more than £30,000. These funds will be used to purchase a used minibus in January 2018 for class trips, and in 2017 each class received funding for teachers at the beginning of the school year to purchase new play equipment. The PA is now coordinating closely with staff to identify priority areas for further funding, and will seek feedback from parents.
The Corpus Christi Parents' Association would like to thank everyone for their amazing support and we invite anyone to take part in our meetings which are regularly announced in the school newsletter. If you would like to be involved in a PA event or have fundraising ideas and are unable to attend one of the meetings, please get in touch with any of the following members of our PA Committee:
