The research based project uses the power of understanding, regulating and expressing emotions to help children and staff develop empathy, self-reflection and resilience. The Center conducts research and teaches people of all ages how to develop their emotional intelligence. RULER is an acronym for the stages in understanding, processing and managing emotions.

Children and staff at Corpus Christi School follow the RULER project and use the tools of The Mood Meter, Class Charters, The Meta-Moment and The Blueprint to understand the power of emotions. Our goal is to be an understanding and reflective school community. We also offer meetings and training for Parents and Carers, addressing how to meet children's emotional needs at home
