At Corpus Christi Catholic Primary School we value the diversity of backgrounds of all pupils, families and wider school community. No matter what a child’s background, we want all our pupils to be successful, confident learners who will grow and develop into responsible citizens guided by their Christian values.
Our school places a great emphasis on developing the spiritual, moral, social and cultural (SMSC), experiences of the pupils and, within this, we aim to promote the core British values in all that we do. We aim to nurture our children on their journey through life so they can grow into safe, caring, democratic, responsible and tolerant adults who make a positive difference to British society and to the world. We encourage our children to be creative, unique, open-minded and independent individuals, respectful of themselves and of others in our school, our local community and the wider world.
Please take a look at the document below which highlights the activities carried out in school and the wider community that promote the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of the children in line with the core British values of democracy, rule of law, individual liberty and respect & tolerance. This document is updated on a monthly basis.
